Coventry City manager Mark Robins has praised Luton Town whom the Sky Bluers travel to on Sunday for a game which kicks off at Kenilworth Road at 12noon and is live on Sky Sports.
Robins told the press conference this morning which was over-shadowed by the EFL statement, giving the Sky Blues until March 5th to tell them exactly where they will be playing next season:"I think when you watch them you can’t help but admire what they are doing.
“Going back to Bournemouth, when they were getting promoted to the Premier League and how they were in and out of possession, Luton have a similar look to them out of possession.
“It’s something we can look at and try and emulate because it’s how you get success and whilst they’ve got players that are willing to do that, they have players who will make forward runs and pace and put you under pressure.
“Mick Harford has been there for a long time and he has been manager in his own right.
“He was Luton manager when I was at Rotherham and they got the 30 point deduction which he had to contend with.
“He knows his way around the game especially at Luton, it is a safe appointment, they players know what they are doing, they’ve had nearly two seasons together and last season they were a worthy team of going up and this season they just kicked on and are doing well.
“Mick knows the game and has been head of recruitment for a while, he has been to our games a lot so he knows what we are about and what we are capable of, so there is no doubt he will see this as a dangerous game for them.”
