Robins: Illness In The Camp

Last updated : 08 February 2019 By CNS Sport

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that illness has affected the number of players he has had training this week.

City travel to Rochdale tomorrow to play a League One fixture on a ground that they have never won at and Mark Robins told the media this morning:

"There’s been an illness in the camp and it’s affected the numbers we’ve had to train."

Scoring goals has been a problem all season long for City and Robins said: "Performances have been consistently good, but results haven’t reflected those performances and we need to get back to winning ways.

"We look, learn and hopefully improve on the back of those experiences and it’s about fine margins and that’s never been as relevant.

"Everyone can score goals and they need to keep doing what they’re doing, it’s the ice cold bit, they take an extra touch and you don’t get that time in the box in League One, we have to take shots first time and finish chances."
