Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that he enjoys watching the Sky Blues play.

City put in their best performance since the away win at Wycombe on New Year's Day to win for the first ever time at Rochdale last week and the City boss told the media at this morning's press conference:"What we’re trying to do is the right thing, I enjoy watching us play, it’s a good way of playing.

"The players are being brave. It was a tough place to go last week against team we hadn’t beat in a long time and to get the win was pleasing.

We’re starting to create performances which are similar in quality and the belief will come. This is the right way to go about things for our football club to have a sustainable and successful future."

Robins spoke about the connections between the players and said: "The banter and connection between the players is getting better and better and that’s encouraging as well.

"It shows that when we get on a run that the belief is there but it also shows they can be fragile when things don’t go our way."

The Sky Blues take on Walsall tomorrow at the Ricoh Arena, having lost in the FA Cup and league at the Banks's Stadium and Robins said about the game: "We controlled the last game against Walsall and they didn’t get near us, but to concede two late goals damaged us a little and we went on a run where the performances weren’t good enough.

"The league means you come up different styles all the time and tomorrow we will come up against a team fighting for their lives and we will have to compete and challenge.

"We have to stand up to their physical threat and go out and enjoy that and enjoy performing.

Last week with Jordy Hiwula you see unbelievable anticipation, he anticipates the flick on and when he goes through he has a lot to think through and it was a fantastic goal, the thought process was one of things that will take him to the next level."
