Coventry City manager Mark Robins was a delighted man following the Sky Blues 1-0 win at Leyton Orient.

Speaking to the Press Association, Robins said: "We came here not to get beaten but also to try and go on and win the game. "So I'm absolutely delighted with the three points but I think that we could have done it more convincingly.

"We've created quite a few chances and if we'd taken some of those, then it would have been more a lot more comfortable rather than ending with a slender one-goal advantage. But I'm also delighted because we've shown that we can grind and scrap for a result.

"I'm pleased with our overall performance because I think our shape looked a little bit better, we managed to get closer and tighter to the opponents without getting too stretched and we'll continue to work hard on our game. However, there are still things that I want to eradicate from our play.

"David McGoldrick's got what seems to be a customary goal from him nowadays and long may that continue because his goals are invaluable for us."
