Robins - A Brilliant Team Performance

Coventry City manager Mark Robins said it was a brilliant team performance as the Sky Blues beat Swindon Town 3-1.

Robins told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "That was a brilliant team performance.

"There were some good goals and the lads were throwing themselves on the line, which was great to see.

"Today was a really moving day. It was a great celebration of Cyrille's life and his career. I think it was fitting result and I am sure he will be looking down on us happy this evening.

"It felt like Biamou was possessed with Cyrille today. The goal that he scored was absolutely top-drawer. Hopefully that gives Max a surge of confidence that he can build on.

"Swindon are a really potent attacking threat. To deal with them the way we did was fine.

"I never felt like we were under any real pressure apart from a ten minute spell after we were two goals up.

"Then they ended up with a goal which was dissapointing really because our defence got swapped and we dealt with everything before that.

"Lee Burge made a couple of great saves at 2-1. There was goal-mouth action, some really good goals, some good efforts on goal, and I thought it was a really good advert for the division."
