The Tottenham player has been told by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp that he can leave White Hart Lane if a club were to bid for him and Birmingham City have done just that.
Reports indicate that a fee of £7m has been agreed and Sky Sports are claiming that the Republic Of Ireland international will undergo a medical at St Andrews in the next 24 hours.
