RIP Martin Harris

It is announced with regret that Martin Harris passed away in hospital this afternoon. Mr Harris,who was a steward with Goldrange Security, suffered a heart attack following City 2-1 win over Preston North End a fortnight ago.

His family have released the following statement: "The family of Martin Harris wish to inform the media that sadly Mr Harris passed away peacefully this afternoon (Friday 14th September). "The family do not wish to say anything further and we would ask you to respect their wishes at this sad time."

Covsupport News Service send their condolences to the family and friends of Mr Harris and in order to respect his family's wishes, there will be no further statement from ourselves or Coventry City FC.
