Greenfields, the company brought in by Wasps to lay a new pitch at the Ricoh Arena, are tweeting that the pitch is finished.
The Horwich in Bolton based company have said that the pitch is ready for Coventry City's League One game against Fleetwood Town on Saturday and for the Wasps game on Sunday with only the grooming left to do.
Greenfields have admitted that this is a temporary measure and that a " hybrid system called xtragrass is going in then for improved play and wear."
