Ricoh Arena To Host Coventry Charity Cup Final Tonight

The Coventry Charity Football Cup Final takes place on Thursday night at the Ricoh Arena between Midland Football League Division sides Southam United and Coventry Copsewood. 

Southam United, go into the final of a competition they have not won, having not conceded a goal. The Saints were given a bye in the First Round, before winning 6-0 at Jag Daimler, Knowle 3-0 and Folly Lane 1-0 in the Semi-Final at Coventry Sphinx FC. 

Copsewood, who last won the Charity Cup in 2012, recorded a First Round 4-0 win at Alvis Sporting Club and beat Coundon Court Highway 8-0, Jet Blades 2-1 and then beat Brinklow 5-3 after extra time in the Semi-Final at Southam United. 

The final will be refereed by Peter Balac with Alan Cox and Kevin Buckley the assistants. The Fourth Official is Mitch Cartwright. 

Admission prices for the game are £5 for adults and £3 for concessions with Car Parking costs £2 per vehicle.
