Ricoh Arena Match For Ross

A football match in memory in remembrance of young Coventry City supporter Ross Emslie who lost his life eight days ago due to leukaemia is being organised.

The match is being arranged to take place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, some time before Christmas.

Lee Thomas, secretary of Coventry Saracens, who Ross played football for, told the Coventry Telegraph: “We are looking to raise a minimum of £20,000 which will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust on behalf of Team Rossy – set up in memory of Ross.

“We are looking for sponsors to get involved with everything whether it is the kits on the day, match balls, trophies, programs, raffle prizes or even a DJ willing to give their time.

“We hope to have some ex-Coventry City players involved as well and I am waiting to hear on that at the moment.”
