Coventry City captain Sam Ricketts has said that you can learn a lot from watching matches.
Ricketts watched City's game against Oldham from the main stand due serving a one game suspension and told Keiran Crowley: “You learn a lot when you watch football, especially when you are watching the team you play in.
“I learned a lot when I was injured as I watched a lot of football then. You can pick up a lot more. I tried to watch the game from quite high up, as you get a far better view when you are up high.
“You can see the areas and spaces when you are at pitch level but, although you feel the intensity at pitch level, you can’t see tactical things."
