Richard Keogh Plays As Ireland Go Out

Former Coventry City defender and captain Richard Keogh played for the Republic Of Ireland this afternoon in their Euro 2016 Round of Sixteen game against France in Lyon.

After seventy five seconds, Ireland were awarded a penalty and Robbie Brady and scored.

France levelled in the 57th minute with a header from Griezmann who then slammed home a second three minutes later.

In the 65th minute, Ireland had Shane Duffy sent off for a trip on Grizmann who was clean through but the Irish could not find a goal to get back in the game and went out of the tournament with a 2-1 defeat.
