Rugby Borough Council have denied removing the sky blue ribbons that have appeared around Ryton close to Coventry City's training ground.
The Council have said in a statement: “We can confirm that Rugby Borough Council has not removed those ribbons.
“Whoever took them was not in the employment of the borough council.”
