There are rumours on Twitter that Coventry City have had a bid for Rotherham United's Alex Revell turned down.

Steven Pressley had said earlier today that he was looking for an experienced striker and at thirty years of age, Revell, who has played for Cambridge United, Kettering Town, Braintree, Brighton, Southend, Swindon, Wycombe and Leyton Orient is certainly experienced.

Revell, has scored 21 goals for Rotherham in 109 appearances.

According to Vital Rotherham, City made a phone call to Rotherham but Millers boss Steve Evans was not interested in talking to the Sky Blues.
