Coventry City earned a 2-1 victory at Wolves Compton training ground this morning. Alan Cork named trialist Rafael Gonzalez in goal plus striker Abel Lua-Lua and were ahead in the fourth minute when Ben Turner rose to meet a Liam Davis free kick. Turner's header hit the post and went into the net off the back of Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme.
The home side who fielded former Sky Blue Gary Breen and Rohan Ricketts kept Gonzalez busy, but in the 37th minute,City went further ahead thanks to a twelve yard drive from Isaac Osbourne.

In the 49th minute, Leon Clarke pulled one back heading home a Gobern cross. Dale Jones had to clear a Charlie Mulgrew shot off the line late on but City held on to win.
