Reserve League Reformatted Without Sky Blues

The formation of the FA Premier Reserve League from which all Championship teams have been expelled has been announced.

Blackburn, Bolton, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Newcastle United Sheffield United and Wigan will contest the Northern Section.

In the Southern Section its Arsenal, Aston Villa, Charlton, Chelsea, Fulham, Portsmouth, Reading, Tottenham, Watford and West Ham.

With The FA PL reluctant to do anything for teams in the Championship, the rest are reduced to playing friendlies. What friendlies City Reserves team boss Alan Cork has lined up will be announced nearer the time.
