The former City striker released by Micky Adams in April, has been invited by the SPL club to go with them for a four game tour of northern Holland after successfully completing two trials.
Reid could play in any or all of the games against Dwingeloo,'t Fean 58, FC Groningen or Turkish side Rizespor which start on Tuesday.
