Reid Wants The John

Peter Reid is set to make a bid for Birmingham City striker Stern John when he returns from international duty with Trinidad & Tobago.

The 27 year old striker has fallen well down the pecking order at St Andrews after a move from Nottingham Forest in 2002.

Reid hopes the deal can be completed before the game at Leeds United on Saturday and is also reported to be interested in West Brom's Darren Moore.
