Reid Released

Craig Reid has been released by Coventry City this morning. Such was Reid's devotion to the Sky Blues cause that the twenty year old striker played the whole of this season for City Reserves for nothing in order to prove that he was worth being given a contract to after being initially released last season.

This term, Coventry born Reid, who was unable to realise his ambition of playing for City's first team, scored ten goals in twenty (plus one sub) reserve team league appearances as well as four in the reserve team friendlies he played in.

Covsupport wish him well in finding new employers.
