Kyle Reid made his debut for Colchester United tonight.
Reid, who is on loan until January from Coventry City, played for 69 minutes of the U's 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Elsewhere this evening, former City loanee Adam Armstrong played at Crewe and scored again. Armstrong netted for Bolton Wanderers in the 70th minute of a 2-1 win.
Former City midfielder Gael Bigirimana scored for Motherwell in a 3-2 extra time win at Ross County.
