Reid: I've Come Here To Achieve Something

Kyel Reid has said that he has joined Coventry City to achieve something.

The former Bradford City and Preston North End winger told Laura Hunter: “I’ve come here to achieve something and with the squad that the manager is building here, we’ve got a great chance. In the two games that I played against Coventry last year it was clear that the club had a footballing ethos.

“I’m a player that likes to excite, I like to get fans off their feet. As soon as I get the ball I look to go forward and run with it, using my pace to create. The game at the Ricoh last year was probably one of my better ones.

“I’d like to play as part of a front three, because I want to be on the scoresheet. I’d just be happy to get out there and put the shirt on and be helping the team to compete for the points we need to be at the top of the table.

“The manager has bought me here to score goals and there is no better feeling than scoring for your team, if I get between eight and ten I’d be happy.”
