The twenty year old former City Reserves striker was in a Bairns side which was losing to Airdrie United but sent a twelve yard volley high into the net and earned John Hughes side a win when he side footed the ball round the keeper from fifteen yards late in the game.
The goals took Reid's tally in pre-season games for Falkirk to five and he was offered a two year contract after the match.
