Referee for Saturday announced

The Referee for Saturday's Championship game between Coventry City v Leicester City (12:30pm kick off) has been announced.

Darren Deadman will be in charge of the match.

Mr Deadman is from Peterborough and his last City game was the 2-2 draw at Norwich City back in May.

A 34 year old Civil Servant, Mr Deadman progressed to the National List via the National List of assistant referees in 2000 and the referees' list in 2005. He got into refereeing after playing semi pro football and getting injured.

Before the Norwich game, his last City game was the 1-0 win at Crystal Palace in February 2010 and previous matches are the 3-2 defeat at Preston in September 2009, the 1-1 draw at Sheffield United in September 2008 and the 2-1 defeat at Watford in April 2008.
