Coventry City youngster James Maddison has said that giving Reda Johnson a new contract would be a massive signing for the City support.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Maddison said: “I’ve spoken to him over the summer – just to chat, not really about his contract or anything – but I think he enjoys it here, likes the lads and the gaffer who will hopefully have a big say in what we do here.
“He’d be a massive signing for the fans. We’ve all seen what an influence he is on the game, both defensively and attacking because he’s such a threat in the box, so he’d be a big step forward for us.”
