Record Low For An FA Cup Tie At The Ricoh

Coventry City's FA Cup First Round Replay against Morecambe produced the lowest home crowd for an FA Cup tie since the Ricoh Arena opened.

1,203 tickets had been sold to City supporters by 6pm with 84 to Morecambe supporters.

Both the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner and BBC Coventry & Warwickshire tweeted an attendance of 1,963 with 106 visitors, before the club, whose attendance figures are based on the number of tickets sold, amended the figure for the second game running and announced a figure of 2,175.
