Coventry City goalkeeper Michael Quirke is looking for a new deal be it at at the Sky Blues or elsewhwere.

Quirke is out of contract at the end of the season and told the CT: "My contract is up in the summer so I am looking for a renewal of my one year pro deal and if not I will work hard to get myself another club. But my main goal is to work hard and get another year or two at Coventry and keep trying to impress.

The City supporting Quirke who was excellent at Doncaster on Tuesday night, added:"Hopefully my save has helped my cause a little bit but I have got to keep working hard in training now. The boys have been great to me and everyone of them came up to me at some point during the afternoon when I knew I was playing and told me to enjoy it,be confident and be myself.

"They were great on and off the pitch and are a good bunch of lads who I am learning off the whole time. I have seen how they are and hopefully. now having had a taste of of what it is like, it makes me hungry for me.

"I was at Christ The King when I was eight and I would like to say how good they were before I went to the Academy. I am 19 now so I am in my 11th year with the club and it would be nice to keep that going."
