Michael Quirke has thanked all the Coventry City supporters for their support of him.
Coventry born and bred Quirke, was told by Andy Thorn on Thursday that he will not be getting a new contract for next season.
Despite knowing this, Quirke went on to put in a cracking performance for the team he supports yesterday at Norwich to end his City first team career with not having been on a beaten side in the four matches he played.
Quirke is quoted on a Facebook status as saying: "One door closes another one open. Hey lets see what the next few months bring!
"Thank you family, friends and CCFC supporters who have helped me over the years."
