PSB Group Welcomes Anderson Departure

The Preservation Sky Blues have issued the following press statement:

"PSB Group welcomes todays departure of Managing Director Chris Anderson. He joined the club last November with the club flying high at the top of the table.

11 months on he leaves the club in crisis.

Not only rock bottom of the league but in a state of obvious turmoil. He is the man who will be remembered for selling James Maddison against Tony Mowbrays wishes on a deal with various add ons that the club may never see the benefit from.

He also promised to use the Maddison money to help improve the squad.

This clearly hasn't happened with many fans regarding the current squad as the weakest they've ever seen. He is the man who promised to sort out the ticket fiasco but only made matters worse with poor decision making on ticket availability, cash turnstiles etc.

He has failed to deliver on the future security of the Academy and been unable to move forward with a more permanent arrangement for the club's home.

He has also been unable to communicate properly with fans and in recent weeks has been virtually invisible. In short we believe he has delivered little of what he promised.

That said he was handed a ridiculously difficult brief by SISU. Whoever replaces him will now have an even harder task to turn round the club's fortunes.

Whilst Anderson was clearly an unsuitable appointment, the real problem is SISU and will continue to be as long as they remain in place."
