PSB Group Statement - Wembley Protest

PSB GROUP WEMBLEY PROTEST

We write this message at an immensely sad time in the history of our beloved Coventry City FC.

It's now a question of "when" not "if" as we prepare for the inevitable relegation to the fourth tier of English football. A pathetic 26 points from 36 games is soul destroying to see. We are a massive 14 points adrift at the foot of the table and sickeningly appear to be going down without as much as a whimper.

This season has proved without any question of doubt that SISU are incapable of running a football club. We are currently on manager number four for the season which is just plain embarrassing. The team is going backwards and the fans continuing to be ignored and very much neglected. We've already seen this season that some city fans are so angry that they've felt it necessary to take drastic action such as entering the pitch or causing disruption in games just so as to have their voices heard.

Some sections of the media have criticised certain fans for doing so but fail to understand the desperation of the situation. We see it as desperate fans taking desperate measures just to be heard.

It's a cry for help. Not just to our owners SISU but to the footballing world. City fans are one of the greatest set of fans in the country. For so long we've had so little. Treated with contempt by Seppala and Fisher, we deserve so much more.

We understand however that we cannot afford any more bad press. We don't want to appear disruptive or to be painted as the bad guys and let SISU off the hook.

The whole footballing world is watching the Coventry City situation in disbelief that the football authorities can allow the destruction of one of Englands major clubs by such unfit and uncaring owners. We therefore need the media as well as fans from other clubs to stick with us and to stay on our side.

We need the full attention to be on SISU.

We also need any new potential investors casting an eye on CCFC to see the potential in this great club and the potential of us as a fanbase. PROTEST!

On the 2nd of April the Sky Blue Army descend on to Wembley Way for the 1st time in 30 years.

We are urging fans to enjoy this occasion without any disruption. Let's enjoy the biggest party we've had in 30 years.

Let's use this opportunity to show the footballing world the'POTENTIAL'at CCFC! We need all city fans to play their part, we ask you all to bring your flags and banners. We also urge you to print off the word 'POTENTIAL' on card/paper to hold up as the players come out the tunnel and to keep them raised until kick off whilst singing the legend that is Jimmy Hill's famous Sky Blue song.

Loud and proud! Imagine how great it will look with 46,000 Sky Blue fans sending out a positive message of 'POTENTIAL' for all the footballing world to see. It would be fantastic!

These awful owners may have stripped us of just about everything but what we do still have is masses of potential as demonstrated by the huge number of people who will be there on April 2nd to support a club with a great history and we believe with a decent future once new owners are in place.

Wembley is about us the fans and showing our great 'POTENTIAL'. As always we need your help to spread the word, so let's all sing together and send out a very powerful message by all highlighting our Potential on April 2nd.

Thank you Regards PSB GROUP @psb_group @pskybluesgroup@gmail.com
