PSB Group - A Rallying Cry To Supporters

Last updated : 26 February 2016 By PSB Group
Match day returns tomorrow after two weeks without a game and it couldn't come at a better time as confidence and optimism seems to be returning to the squad and fans after a poor January month results wise.

It's pleasing to see that after a run which saw only two victories over a nine game winter period, we are still well in the automatic promotion mix, only 4 points off 2nd spot if we win our game in hand respectively.
Testament to what a terrific performance Mowbray and his players have put in beforehand.

All credit goes to Mowbray and his backroom staff who have kept the squad going through this bad spell and importantly brought in a few new recruits, in particular the impressive Cargill and Stephens who have added much needed steel to the rear guard.

The task now is to kick on from our emphatic victory against Bury 2 weeks ago with a performance and 3 points against Fleetwood. On paper Fleetwood is a great chance to kick start a run. looking at the fixture list through March we are capable of staying unbeaten throughout.

All our opponents in March are mid table or below and rightly so as fans we are eagerly expecting to win the majority of points on offer. A string of decent performances up until the end of March could see us back in the top two positions as a lot of competition in the top 6 are playing each other.

Automatic promotion is still very much in our grasp and as always, as fans we must do all we can to push the players along. Mowbray has a strong and exciting team at his disposal and we're excited to see how they perform going forward. Maddison and Cole in the middle of the park are a duo that can unlock and defeat any team in this league. With our deadly inform striker Adam Armstrong upfront, strong central midfield pairing of Fleck and Vincelot. The team is as strong as we've seen it for a very, very long time.

We are currently in the play offs with the division's top goal scorer playing in a city shirt with the likes of Joe Cole playing behind him. When do we ever have this great situation at City ? Never. So let's create the atmosphere this great situation deserves

Let's get the Ricoh back to the fortress it was for the first half of the season. It would be great to push attendances back up as the players embark on this difficult but achievable promotion charge!
