The companies that run Coventry City FC in Otium Entertainment Group, and Sky Blue Sports & Leisure will be in court for their appeal sometime between April and May 2018.
These companies plus the Caymen Islands based Arvo Master Trust, are appealing the High Court decision regarding the blocking of a full judicial review over the sale of Arena Coventry Limited and the Ricoh Arena to Wasps.
A preliminary hearing will take place in London on November 28th wih a two-day hearing being given a slot of some time between April 10th and May 15th 2018.
The Coventry Telegraph are running a joint statement from Councillor George Duggins, leader of Coventry City Council; and Cllr Gary Ridley, Leader of the Opposition Conservative Party which reads “We are aware of the preliminary hearing at the Court of Appeal later this month and remain confident that we have a robust defence to all the claims and that the decisions the Council took on October 7, 2014 were entirely lawful.
“Until the hearing on November 28, we will not be making any further comment on the case.”
