Coventry City's claims that the second Judicial Review is nothing to do with them is not entirely true.

Coventry City FC, who said in a press statement: "Coventry City FC does not pay any attention to, or concern itself with, off-pitch legal matters. The football club is solely concentrated on matters on the pitch, and securing enough points to maintain our League One status beyond the current season." ,  are owned by Sky Blue Sports & Leisure whose directors include Tim Fisher and the South Africa based Laura Deering and the Otium Entertainment Group of which both are also directors along with Mark Venus.

Otium Entertainment Group own the club's Golden Share and pay the wages of the staff and employees such as stewards.

The Caymen Islands based Avro Master Fund Limited have a debenture on the club which means they get payments for when the club website is clicked on etc, are also involved in the action against Coventry City Council, ACL, Wasps and trustees of the Higgs Charity.
