Pretty Even Between City And Sheffield United

Sunday's League One game will be the 56th meeting between Coventry City and Sheffield United FC. 

In those 55 league and cup matches between the two sides, Coventry have won eighteen with nineteen draws, scoring the same 65 goals as The Blades.

Of the twenty eight matches played in Coventry, City have won ten and drawn ten and their biggest home win was the 3-0 First Division victory at Highfield Road in November 1972. 

Sixfields will be a new ground for Sheffield United who have not played Northampton since the 1990's.

City played Sheffield United three times last season drawing the league game at the Ricoh Arena 1-1 and then winning 4-1 on penalties in a JPT tie before winning 2-1 in Sheffield.
