Preston Didn't Need Presents Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that his side did not need to give Preston presents.

Preston had lost just once in eighteen matches at Deepdale before the game and City squandered a chance of their first ever league win by giving the Lillywhites three goals.

"Overall in the 90 minutes we had the better chances. We should have done better with some of our chances," said Chris Coleman to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire after City's 3-2 defeat.

"We are better than that defensively. I think we were tired from Tuesday, we were affected by that, unfortunately.

"We gifted Preston with two goals, gave them away. They are a good enough team, they don't need to be given any presents."
