Pressley: We Need More Games From Reda

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he needs Reda Johnson to play more games for the Sky Blues.

Johnson has only played in eleven matches so far this season and speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Pressley said:  "I think we need more out of Reda because he’s only played 11 of our 22 games this season and the reality is that he's only finished nine. I need more because there’s no hiding his influence.

“He’s a big, big player and I brought him to the club because he’s an outstanding centre-half but you need your captain on the pitch more times than 11 in 22 games, so it’s something he has to improve on.

“I’ve spoken to him on that, that he has to be on the pitch more. He has to be on the training pitch more and on the field of play more to fulfil his potential because I think, in there, there is a terrific centre-back but he’s not fulfilling that at the moment by only playing that amount of games.”
