Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he is quite happy to bring in players from lower leagues as long as they have the DNA he wants.
The City boss told Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph: “The biggest thing is we don’t sign any player that does not have a work ethic within their DNA.
“That’s the starting point because the way we want to train, play and press the game all comes from the work ethic.
“We think we can improve other aspects of their play but it’s difficult to change a player who doesn’t work hard into a player that really works hard.
“I want hungry players at this club, players who want to win and take this club where we need it to go, and recruitment is a vital area.”
