Pressley To Decide On Penalty Taker

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley will decide who will be taking any future penalties for the Sky Blues.

With Gary Madine, who has taken the last two scoring one and having his spot kick saved at Yeovil, going back to Sheffield Wednesday, the City boss will decide who will take any penalties and told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I learned a lesson in the early part of the season when I was always one who allowed players to decide among themselves at the time, because sometimes a player is more confident than another.

“I designated Gary as the penalty taker before the Gillingham game and that was the case again at Yeovil. Once I decide on the team for this weekend I will name the player I want to take the responsibility should we get another one.

“We’ve missed three from four this year which is a poor stat and something we need to improve on because we must bring more goals to the games.”
