Coventry City manager Stephen Pressley was pleased with the performance of Fabio Martins in the 2-0 defeat to Fleetwood Town.

Martins, the Portuguese winger has joined on trial and speaking about him, Steven Pressley told Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I thought he showed real class at times.

“He’s a really exciting player and made some really intelligent runs in off the side in the first half although I don’t think we used him enough, but that will come with time.

“This was his first game and he’s not trained with us prior to coming here and I think to produce a performance like that off the back of nearly no training is testament to his levels of fitness and type of player he can be.

“I think he’s got huge potential and he’s also a goal threat, which we must have. We obviously have to see a lot more of him but first impression are very good.”
