Pressley: I Will Ship Out Players

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has maintained his stance that he will be shipping out the players he feels do not have the right mental aspect.

Speaking at this morning's press conference to Alan Poole and James Rodger of the Coventry Telegraph, Pressley said: "I have to see a seriousness in my players. In the media meeting the other day, I said players falling beneath the standards I expect will be shipped out and that remains the case. The process has started and it will take some time, but that remains the case."

"Training is at such an intensity and we aren't taking that onto the field. The mental aspect of the players isn't right. We need players with good mentality. Players involved on Wednesday night performed as I'd expect them to, but some of them will inevitably leave in the coming months."
