Coventry City manager Steven Pressley is hoping that the club won't be fined for the pitch invasion during the Sky Blues 3-2 loss at Crawley Town.

The game was halted just after Crawley had scored a second goal in the 21st minute from a Joe Walsh header following a corner which in the opinion of the City support and most of the players should not have been given.

It was the catalyst of a number of decisions not given or wrongly awarded by the referee Lee Collins, who proved his incompetence last season during City's draw at Swindon Town which saw Richard Wood with a broken nose and John Fleck taken to hospital, incidents that he failed to deal with,

Around fifteen City fans took to the pitch with the referee clearly the target and there were four arrests.

Speaking to the Press Association, City boss Steven Pressley said: "The vast majority behaved brilliantly. I hope there won't be any action taken because of the pitch invasion."
