Coventry City manager Steven Pressley is hopeful that Marcus Tudgay will agree to join the Sky Blues.
The striker featured for City at Nuneaton and on their Italian Tour and has been offered a deal by Coventry.
Tudgay is currently weighing up the offer and Steven Pressley told Keiran Crowley: "We'd like to bring Marcus into the group. We're going to work hard on that and I've spoke to Steve (Waggott) about that.
"Hopefully we can come to an agreement with the player but until we secure that, I'll not get excited."
