Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he has been delighted with Franck Mouusa.

Speaking about the Belgian, who scored a stunning goal against Port Vale in City's last outing, the City boss said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “Sometimes you forget just how young he is.

“But we are pleased with him because he’s really bought in to the work ethic of the group and that’s been one of the most significant changes in Franck, that out of possession he has really taken on his team responsibility. And because he’s doing that I think he is finding himself in possession more than he ever did before.

“When he is in possession he’s a really outstanding talent, so we have been really pleased with him. He’s playing off the left which isn’t his natural position but he obviously has a responsibility out of possession, but in possession we give him a lot of flexibility out there.

“I like where he is playing just now because from those areas he can drift in off the sides and become almost the 10 position at times.

“He’s a very clever player and I have been really pleased with his progress, I really have. He’s one of those players who can deal with the ball in really tight areas with people around him, so he’s really comfortable in that respect.

“He’s a wonderful boy as well; he’s no trouble. He comes in and trains hard every day so he’s a great kid. He’s very popular and I think everyone has a great deal of respect for him because he’s a really nice character.”
