Pressley: City Have Looked Too Often For Quick Fixes

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that City have looked too often for quick fixes.

Speaking about the lack of success and the fact that a winning team will bring supporters to the Ricoh Arena, Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: “We’ve seen that over the course of the past 15 years and you can go back further than that.

“Staying in Premier League was a incredible achievement but people didn’t witness them fighting for things at the top end of the table and even when they moved down the Championship it didn’t happen because this club has looked for quick-fix solutions far too often.

“The supporters have been starved of success but if, over the course of time, we are pushing at the top end I think they will come back.

“It will still be a good crowd against Yeovil and we’re all really excited about playing at the Ricoh again – the batteries are fully recharged after the emotion of last Friday and we can’t wait to get going.”
