Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has brought in a central defender with Premier League and Championship experience on trial.
The defender is a free agent and Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “We’re looking at a centre-back and we have one in the building at this moment in time on trial. He joined us yesterday and we’re still looking for a striker who carries a physicality and aerial threat.
“He’s a free agent and he’s an experienced player with Premier League and Championship football, so he’s a very interesting player for us.
We’ll assess him over a week-long period and then make a decision.
“He’s fit and in good condition but, like Simeon, not had any real football specific training so he will be a little bit behind the others but he’s someone who would bring a lot to the group if he proved to be the right one.”
