Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has apologised for getting sent to the stands during the Sky Blues' 3-1 win at Rotherham United.

Pressley was sent from the technical area for protesting about Rotherham's goal and the standard of officiating.

Speaking to Geoff Foster of BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Pressley apologised and said: "As for my own performance, I have to apologise. I got a bit caught up in the game.

"I felt there were decisions not going our way, but I need to behave better than I did today.

"It is a learning curve, not just for my players, but for myself as well. It was my frustration spilling over, and I can only apologise. These are moments I have to do better in."
