Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that his players cannot let the occasiosn of the Sky Blues returning to the Ricoh Arena overshadow the performance on the night.

Pressley, who did a lot of pressurising to help City come back to Coventry, told James Rodger at the press conference this morning: "We can't let the occasion overshadow the performance. Momentum is the biggest thing in football. We don't want any setbacks.

"Our home form will be crucial to success. The Ricoh was never a happy hunting ground for us before we left for Sixfields, so we need to show we can handle a level of expectation. We need to prove it by winning games.

"At this club, there is a level of expectation. Our youngsters have to show they have the ability to handle it.

"We have to focus on the gameplan. We must play the game and not be distracted from the gameplan."

"Playing big games is why we are all here. The atmosphere on Friday night will be big. We need to show we can handle it.

"There was a time I feared we would never return to the Ricoh.

"Steve Waggot has built the foundations for this club to go from strength to strength. He deserves great credit. It will be a great night for everyone involved with the club."
