Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that the club are finally back on the right track.

Speaking at the press conference to James Rodger of the Coventry Telegraph ahead of City's first game back at the Ricoh Arena tomorrow night, Pressley said: It's been challenging and difficult as a young manager at this club - but Friday, with terrific support, will be the benefit of that. Our staff and players have embraced the difficulties.

"Thankfully everything has come together and we're back on the right track

"Coventry City is a club which has been starved of success for too long. We have references to the 1987 FA Cup winning team everywhere around the training ground. We need to start living up to that.

"Friday will be the most important day in this club's history since 1987 with all the emotion attached to it.

"It was hard to motivate players at Sixfields. We were made to feel welcome by all the great staff there - and we are grateful - but it was never home."

"We are visiting the stadium later today to get focused."
