Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has thanked the City supporters for getting behind him and the players who have changed their style of play for the last two matches.
Pressley went with five defenders, one sitting in front, three midfielders and one up front for the game against Crewe after playing a similar tactic against Stevenage on Wednesday night and the 1.142 City supporters got behind the team as did those at Sixfields both in and out of the ground.
Speaking to Nick Connoll, Pressley said: "I make no apologies about the last two games and how we've gone about things.
The fans have supported us brilliantly and the players have responded with great heart and determination.
"We've won the last two games ugly and it's the first time really this season that we can say that we've won ugly and we've now shown that we can do that so we can go into Tuesday's game against Bradford with a greater degree of confidence."
