Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that the performance from his team against Preston North End was just not good enough.

Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: "That just wasn't good enough and I am not talking about the team, I'm talking about me, my staff, everybody.

"Sometimes you can get a result when you are playing not so well. We didn't manage to do that last season but there were signs we were showing that mentality but not this time!

"We have to turn the disappointment in the dressing room into motivation because we are certainly a lot better than we played today.

"We went seven without defeat and now it is three straight losses which is not good enough for this football club and I have to address that and make sure we turn this corner, this dip in form.

"We have to show that belief, that unity which we had before and make sure that we don't get another performance like that."
