Pre-Season Details To Be Announced Shortly

Coventry City are expected to announce their pre-season programme in the next week or so. Iain Dowie is playing his cards close to his chest but when the players return on July 2nd, he will be sending them to a university for testing.

A couple of friendlies will follow before the team have a week away. Out is America and Ibiza but the smart money is on Northern Ireland with the club and Dowie having good links in the Province.

Dowie has also said that City will play a friendly against attractive opposition at the Arena before the season starts on Saturday August 11th (subject to the demands of tv). Full details including travel directions will appear on this site when they are announced.

City are believed to be the opposition for Terry Angus's testimonial at Nuneaton Borough on May 14th or the final game at Manor Park.
